Join our team at the Spearfish Holiday Inn as the Assistant Housekeeping Manager!
Full Time Position, 5 days a week
Hourly Rate
Support the Housekeeping Manager in daily tasks and duties.
Lead the team with a positive and encouraging attitude.
Ensure employees are following policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager on team meetings.
o Give suggestions to the Housekeeping Manager on topics.
o Help lead department meetings with the Housekeeping Manager.
Responsible for making lists when Housekeeping Manager is not present.
Be familiar with OPERA reports to check occupancy and help prepare for the future.
Assist with managing and tracking minutes per room.
Ability to clean rooms to IHG standards.
Assist Team Lead in training new housekeepers.
Responsible for new staff to watch IHG Training Video – Way of Clean for Housekeepers.
Complete and assist with deep cleans.
Assist in Laundry.
Help with extra tasks as needed.
Positively enforce housekeeping rules.
Responsible for making schedules as needed.
Inspect rooms for cleanliness.
Assist Housekeeping Manager with quarterly inventory.
Report any issues to the Housekeeping Manager.
Must be able to lift, stoop, bend and reach.
Any and all tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
